The Role

You will work with a small team of talented developers to gain some invaluable insight and expand your web development skills. The Role

As a hugely capable Web Designer you are an essential cog in our studio team, not just producing great designs but coding them to become a reality as well. We live and breathe design that serves a purpose, and balances form equally with function. The role covers everything from designing ad banners for client display campaigns, through to creating interactive website content, all the way on to our own marketing and branding material for print and digital. You will need to be creative, versatile and innovative; and have a keen eye for detail.

  • To be the creative representative in a performance focused company and to broadcast your creativity and knowledge to the wider team.
  • Assisting in interpretation and understanding of project requirements and suggesting practical design solutions.
  • Evaluating the time requirements of projects and have the ability to embark in creative directions that accommodate these requirements.
  • Co-ordinating with other designers, developers and project managers to ensure that each and every piece of work is prioritised correctly with team delivery in mind.

You will be able to demonstrate

  • At least two years’ experience of designing for the web.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and a practical working understanding of the creative tools required to build websites, illustrator, photoshop etc.
  • Experience of designing to encourage a conversion / action.
  • Experience of working to a specific design brief
  • An ability to show that you can work in a range of styles and adapt your work to meet the needs of a project
  • An understanding of website testing and design optimisation.
  • Excellent problem solving and extraordinary levels of common sense
  • The ability to work under pressure to very tight deadlines, with a strong focus on achieving results.
  • The ability to work without supervision and strive to better targets/objectives.
  • Willingness to put in the necessary hours to achieve results.
  • Being pro-active in approach to changing business priorities and flexible in adapting decisions and actions.
