The Role

As an SEO specialist you will be working on a range of clients across lots of different industries, from smaller individual companies to larger multinational accounts. We will give you the autonomy and responsibility to manage your campaigns and, of course, provide structure and support along the way.

Working across all elements of client campaigns, from technical SEO audits, keyword research to onsite content and Digital PR, you will work with the broader teams to create and deploy clever and creative SEO strategies. Thinking ‘how?’ and ‘why?’ as well as having an astute ability to get things done well, you will not only be responsible for managing successful SEO campaigns, you will also be able to provide valuable insight to your clients.

  • You’re a team player, willing to share knowledge and discuss approaches and tactics but also able to work independently.
  • You have exceptional attention to detail, have an excellent level of written English and are highly numerate (Excel is a must, pivot table knowledge is a bonus!).
  • You have experience using Google Analytics and Google Search Console, as well as third party SEO tools such as Majestic, Ahrefs, SearchMetrics, AWR, Screaming Frog, Botify etc.
  • You can real off onsite elements for SEO in your sleep (e.g. canonical tags, structured data, robots.txt, hreflang etc.).
  • You’re familiar with common CMS platforms and can interpret HTML, JavaScript and CSS.

What Will You Do

Aside from simply being a brilliant SEO, you will:

  • Own all technical elements of SEO campaigns for a variety of websites, including producing comprehensive site audits and continuous monitoring of technical performance.
  • Create and implement client strategies and produce roadmaps, effectively prioritising activity that will have the greatest impact towards helping clients hit their KPIs and agreed forecasts.
  • Provide hands-on delivery of work to improve on-site optimisation and inform strategies (e.g. keyword research, maintaining a healthy backlink profile, competitor analysis and implementing recommendations as and when required).
  • Work closely, where applicable, with the content and digital PR teams to ensure all work is aligned to client goals.
  • Analyse data to inform account activity and deliver recommendations.
  • Own the performance of accounts managed.
  • Stay on top of the latest SEO developments, advocating best practice and sharing your insights across the team.
  • Ensure activity is completed in a timely fashion and to a high standard.
  • Where necessary, support our digital account managers on calls.
