Randstad UK challenged Found to extract more value — specifically engagement and conversions — from its online Career Hub. While it provided valuable career, CV and interview advice, the hub was too generic and, as a result, was failing to generate the desired results.
A big part of the problem was the fact it would show, for example, nursing jobs in London to IT managers in Manchester, and present teaching-related content to engineers. Essentially, it was offering a catch-all user experience, not one tailored to the individual visitor. But catch-all often equals catch none.
Solution: The Personal Touch
Found’s partnership with personalisation specialists, Monetate, enabled it to make Randstad UK’s Career Hub dynamically change according to the needs and goals of the individual site visitor.
The Hub was effectively turned into hundreds and thousands of bespoke hubs to deliver a much more personalised experience and radically improve conversion.
On top of that, we used the information gathered from each user’s visits to further customise the Randstad homepage for when they returned, again resulting in increased conversions.
Results: Ding Dong!
£321,000 incremental GP
In just a few months, Found added £321,000 incremental GP for Randstad and increased the site conversion rate by a significant 10.5%.
The personalised Career Hub generated an additional 23,000 applications, from the right people for the right roles.
Increased submission rates
A 27% increase in CV submission rates, with job application rates also growing by 26%
